Anime Dakimakura Pillow (ADP) is operated by JWE Group Limited. This page sets out:
- the policy every freelance artist must agree to before providing artwork to us; and
- the third-party brands we are authorised to sell.
Part 1: Freelance Artist Policy
Every freelance artist who provides artwork to ADP must agree to this policy before we accept any submission. Artists confirm their agreement when they sign up, and again each time they submit a design.
What you must not submit
- Existing characters from any anime, manga, game, film, TV show, comic, VTuber or other franchise.
- Fan art, parody or "inspired by" versions of existing characters. If a customer could recognise the character by its look, costume, hair, colours or accessories, it is not allowed. Renaming a character or changing its colours does not make it original.
- Trademarks, logos or brand names belonging to any company, studio or organisation.
- Character or franchise names in your artwork, file names, titles or tags.
- Traced or copied work, including official art, screenshots or other artists' work.
- Real people's likenesses, including celebrities and streamers.
- AI images made with prompts that name an existing character, franchise or artist.
All characters must be clearly adults (18+) in both appearance and description.
Your promise
By submitting a design, you confirm that you created it yourself, that you own all rights to it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Keep your source files and sketches, because we may ask for them as proof.
Our review
We check every design before it goes on sale, and we may reject any design. If an infringing design is reported or found later, we remove it right away.
If you break this policy
We may remove your designs, withhold royalties on infringing designs, and end your contributor account. You are responsible for any claims, costs or chargebacks caused by artwork that infringes someone else's rights.
Your agreement
☐ I have read and agree to the ADP Freelance Artist Policy. I confirm that all artwork I submit is my own original work and contains no third-party characters, trademarks or copyrighted material.
Report infringement
Rights holders can email legal@animedakimakurapillow.com. We act on every report within 5 business days.
